The exhibition is presented in the official program of celebrating 200-years of Finland and Russia collaboration.

As the curators of this amazing photo exhibition we are proud and honored to say, that the New Generation of finnish photojournalism is here!  We are happy to establish the work of 44 photographers, some for the first time, some as seen earlier in the top publications in Finland.

For the first time ever the new wave photojournalists are collected into one big exhibition at the Finnish museum of photography. It includes over 200 images, and it tells a whole lot of stories from our time.  The themes these great photographers work with varie from death sentence to birth, from politicians to sewers. Also the approach to the matter varies and personal touch can be seen in the different styles they represent. We see these new generation photographers representing the new wave of finnish photojournalism, and we simply think they rock!!
