Rami Hanafi, born in 1979, is a young photographer himself. During the last few years he has been working on a variety of different photographic projects, editorial and commercial. He’s photojournalistic work can be mostly seen in Aamulehti, where he works as staff photographer. He also works closely together with Viewmasters of Helsinki.
Hanafi has previously worked on photo editorial work in Skimbaaja magazine and Aamulehti, and curated a large exhibition 1/125 lehtivalokuvaajan vuosi for the 125th Anniversary of Aamulehti.
In NG he has been overwhelmed and amazed on the quality of finnish new wave photographers and has been pleased and honored to work with the great imaginary of these guys and girls.

Hanna-Kaisa Hämäläinen, born in 1975, received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 2004. She has worked as a freelance photojournalist for newspapers and magazines since the turn of the new millenia. Her career commenced just in time for the rise of the new wave of Finnish photojournalism, and she has been extremely happy to see how much progress has taken place in such a short time. She has previously produced several photo exhibitions in Finland and has just ended her term as the chairperson of the Finnish Press Photographers Association. She views the NG-project as an extremely interesting, magnificent vantage point. "It is great to marvel at the photographer's attitude to soar to new heights."
